I’ve been feeling slightly better about Obama since reading this blessay about some things he’s actually done, and since the Chomsky-ish blog I read considers him the best option for King of America. But still…yeah. I don’t understand why everyone seems to think he’s some big new exciting thing. “Least bad” is not good, and neither is “better than anyone in memory”, which he may or may not be.
I just made a big link-filled comment that’s in your moderation queueueueueue, but while I’m waiting I also want to add a PS, which is that as unexciting as he is, he’s at least eight million times better than Clinton.
